Cherry Lyubimitsa Korvatsky was obtained from combining such varieties of cherries as "black April" and "yellow drogan" at the Dagestan experimental gardening station. Thanks to the work of a selection specialist, namely A.S. Pokrovskaya, this cherry variety was obtained. Cherry variety Lyubimitsa Korvatsky was added to the state register in 2002 for the North Caucasus region.

The cherry tree of the Lyubimitsa Korvatsky variety grows of ordinary size, approximately five hundred to five hundred and fifty centimeters in height, the crown has the shape of a regular ball, rather spreading and densely leafy. A cup with a shape that resembles a ball is smooth at the edges. The flowering and fruit-bearing process takes place on bouquet shoots and at the base of annual branches.
